This is the piece I made with the August Scrawlr Box. It is drawn with oil pastels which I dont usually work with. They were pretty fun though. I drew the Haast River in New Zealand.

I wanted to draw this idea for such a long time. After struggling with the colour and lineart, I ended up leaving it like this. I'm still not sure if I like it so I may continue working on it one day.

I drew this illustration using Procreate. I wanted to practice creating transparent colours by mixing the two colours together. This is an idea I'd love to revisit.

Transparent Trees  - 9th September 2022

This is the second painting I made with the July Scrawlr box. I loved the opacity of the inks so much, I wanted to try layering them. This was a very fun medium to try out.

This is the first painting I made with the acrylic inks included in the July Scrawlr box. It was really fun to play around with textures and the opacity of the ink.

This is my banner I drew for my youtube channel. I wanted to draw something with the same colour palette as my icon. The first idea I came up with was a big space scene. I had so much fun creating the little stars. I am editing the footage of drawing this, and the icon, to post on my youtube.

This is a digital drawing I did on Procreate.
I wanted to draw a dragon skeleton being overgrown with foliage and mushrooms. I’m not entirely sure it looks like a dragon. I was contemplating adding in a wing but ended up deciding I liked it the way it was. Overall, I’m happy with how this piece turned out!

Old Dragon Skeleton - 16th June 2022

This is the last one of the plant cats I drew. He kinda looks like an old man to me because of the fluff on his chin. I kinda like it though! He has his own personality.

Plant Cat Blue - 8th July 2022

I have a crazy amount of sharpies, so when they made a pack with more pastel colours, of course I had to try them out. I made this illustration using only the new colours in the Gems Sharpie pack. Although I love the colours, I always forget how difficult sharpies are for me.

I created this illustration as a way to try out a different shading technique. Im still not sure if I like the way it turned out. This might be an idea I revisit later on.

This is the second one of the plant cats I drew to turn into enamel pins. I absolutely love this kittys colours and I think I will redraw this character at some point.

Plant Cat Purple - 7th July 2022

This is probably the most fun drawing I’ve made using Procreate. I loved drawing the individual scales. It took a few attempts to figure out what shading style I wanted to use, but I’m really proud of how it turned out in the end.

Chinese Dragon - 14th August 2021

This is the first digital tattoo design I have done. I loved playing around with the different pencils on Procreate. Im quite happy with the end result too. I will definitely use Procreate to draw more tattoo designs.

Tattoo Design (skull&dagger) - 22nd July 2021

This Scrawlr box was a wee bit of a challenge for me. I have used paint pens in the past but I never ever work with neon colours. After a few other failed illustrations, I made this one. I think, in the end, I was able to create something I was pretty proud of.

June Scrawlr Challenge - 21st July 2022

This is one of three plant cats I drew on Procreate. My plan is to turn them into enamel pins. I really like the pink and grey colours I chose for this kitty.

Plant Cat Pink - 7th July 2022

This is the second drawing I created on Procreate. I wanted to play around with making transparent layers. The light rays were so much fun to draw. I love how colourful and cute this illustration is.
